独立学院大学英语教学现状及教学模式探究——基于元认知策略理论的实证研究

摘    要:因办学条件和办学理念的独特性使得独立学院的大学英语教学模式不得完全等同于其他高等院校,其大学英语教学现状也不同于其他院校。通过问卷调查,发现独立学院大学英语教学普遍存在教学效果不理想、学生的英语学习主动性差、效率低、自我管理能力不强等问题。基于元认知策略理论,通过实证研究,本文提出"1+3"教学模式。该模式通过指导学生建立个人学习档案,培养学生自觉将计划策略、监控策略和调整策略等融入英语学习,能有效提高学生英语学习的主观能动性、学习效率和自我管理能力。

Abstract:Currently, college English teaching models in the independent institute are not in accordance with their unique features. As a result, the teaching effect is not satisfying and many problems have appeared. For example, many students show little passion for English learning; some of them have low efficiency and poor self-management ability in English study. Based on meta-cognitive theory and the characteristics of the students in independent institutes, this study puts forward "1 +3" teaching model, aiming to improve students' activity, efficiency and self-management ability in English study. This teaching model cultivates the students' ability to utilize planning strategy, monitoring strategy and adjustment strategy in English study by instructing students to establish personal portfolio.
