| Abstract: | Rooted in American western history,American cowboy novels deeply bear cultural and historical values.Cowboy novelists,as thinker and feeler of the time,reflected the history of American social development with their pens.This special literate style is a vital factor to consider American nationality and cultural values.This article aims to disclose the historical and cultural values via earlier cowboy novels especially three outstanding earlier cowboy novelists and their typical cowboy novels. |
