| 摘 要： | 职业体育是一种高度专业化、商业化了的高水平竞技体育,其核心是职业体育赛事的运作和推广.职业体育赛事是以体育运动为基本手段,高度专业化、商业化和市场化了的竞技比赛活动.从实践上来看,可将职业体育的形成和发展分为五个历史时期:职业体育的萌芽(1600-1749)、业余体育俱乐部的诞生(1750-1868)、职业体育俱乐部与职业体育联盟的诞生(1869-1897)、职业体育联盟的迅速发展与成熟(1898-1979)、职业体育成为奥林匹克运动会大家庭的一员(1980-现在).
