The analysis of the animal image in Women in love

In Women in love D.H.Lawrence presents the novel with fragmentary scenes instead of the usral plot,and employs a lot of separate and unrelated images to reflect the mental conflicts among the major characters to enhance the development of the plot,and hence to highlight the theme of the novel.This paper is going to show the unique characteristcs of the art of symbolism used by D.H.Lawrence through the analysis of the four animal images in the novel.
