On the Types,Evolution and Protection of the Traditional Folk Houses in Gannan Tibetan Area

Traditional residence is a kind of folk architecture with regional or national characteristics built according to the traditional way,which is used by families or families.Taking the traditional folk houses in Gannan Tibetan area from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China as the research object,through systematical carding,comparison and analysis,it is concluded that the traditional folk houses in Gannan Tibetan area in the course of their development,there have been tents,board houses,blockhouses,civil bungalows,civil two-storey buildings and other forms of architectural style;Because of the different production and life style,the residents in Gannan Tibetan area have three types:traditional,mixed and commercial The traditional Tibetan houses have such characteristics as multi-functional Tsuchihira roofs,multi-local materials,and the internal pattern of the houses is deeply influenced by the customs and habits.
