语言是文化的载体,不同民族有着不同的文化、历史、风俗习惯和风土人情,在英语教学中要注重中西文化在信仰、态度、传统习俗、价值观念、行为规范、伦理道德等方方面面的差异,加强文化背景知识渗透,并努力提高自己的本族语和外语的水平,吸收和体验异国文化,创造语言环境,寓教于乐,帮助学生正确地理解语言、运用语言。

Language is the principal means whereby we conduct our social lives. When it is used in the contest of communication, it is bound up with culture in many complex ways. As each nation has its unique culture, history,and social conventions, we should attach importance to understanding cultural background information in English teaching. By interacting with western culture in different ways, such as movies, newspapers, discussions,and speeches, we can improve our English study.
