| Abstract: | In the early Qing Dynasty, Qian Qianyi and Liu Rushi were secret in their movement and trace, with Qian Qianyi finally arrested, which led to different and misleading interpretations by various scholars. This paper, through textual research, has explored into such facts as the background of this event, the time of his being arrested, the place he was put in prison and the reasons behind his being released in order to correctively evaluate Qian Qianyi in the early Qing Dynasty. |
