Collective Annotation of the Spring and Autumn Classics is one of the most important annotated ancient books in the period of Wei and Jin dynasties.Its perspective of explaining words in ancient books inherited the way that scholars in the Han Dynasty used to do.On top of that,scholars of the Wei and Jin dynasties further developed the tradition.They were like an enormous knowledge repertoire of calendar,geography,historical personages;rites and customs.Through explaining all these,they could make comprehensible of ancient orthodox classics in depth and probe into the interrelationship between the ancient orthodox classics.
