Conflict Management in China and US:under the Influence of Face

Face has been considered an important issue in intercultural conflict management.A successful management of face issue is of significance in communication process,especially those involves the Asian countries.With an in-depth investigation of cultural variability of face in China and US,the present paper will compare different styles of conflict management in regards to face in hope that it will give some hints to relative studies.
