| 摘 要： | 汉语中的“龙”与英语中的“dragon”不当互译引起许多麻烦。文章简述了龙的三种译法，并分析了译文背后的原因。民族的才是世界的，中国在借鉴、吸收、学习西方先进文化的同时，应努力保持和发扬我国民族的特性，并尽可能向世界译介本国化，扩大民族文化的影响，使汉文化走向世界，在世界文化趋同的大潮中争得一席之地，使中西方文化最终将实现平等对话。 |

| Abstract: | A lot of misunderstanding was caused by inappropriate translations oflongin Chinese anddragonin English.Reasons of three different translations are analyzed in this paper.It further states that Chinese characteristic features should be main-tained when we are in the course of borrowing,absorbing and learning the merits of western culture,and that Chinese have the duty to intensify the influence of the Chinese culture on the world so as to enjoy the equal position with western culture. |
