America has accumulated a wealth of experience in the long-term development of the vocationaltechnical education process,this mainly displays in the following respects:the US federal government pays great attention to the combinative method of legislation and appropriation to intervene the development of various states' vocational-technical education;it also studies the experience of developing vocational-technical education in some advanced countries actively on own initiative,and combines the experience with it's own concrete practice;the various states pay attention to devote major efforts to developing vocational-technical education by making the public school and the institutions of higher learning as the backing;all levels of vocational education organization can independently run schools according to the economic construction and the social development requests.
