摘    要:基于实验班和对照班以及实验班情境教学前后限时口语测试语料中的产出性词块,根据词块变体、词块密度、词块独创性及复杂性4项指标分析情境教学对高职英语口语词块丰富性的影响。结果显示,情境教学会显著提高总体词块特别是话题内容词块的变体、密度、独创性及复杂性;语篇词块以及人际关系词块的变体、独创性及复杂性虽有提高但不够显著,这两类词块的密度则受情境教学影响而有显著下降。这是由于情境教学实施后,学习者产出性词块量增长、词块意识增强、口语表达能力提高的结果,同时也是随着情境教学的深入开展学习者充分发挥词块功能藉以提高英语口语能力的主要表现。

Abstract:Based on the productive chunks in the timed oral test of the experimental class before and after situational teaching and that of the experimental and control classes after the comparative teaching, the paper, according to indicators of variation, density, originality and sophistication, analyzed the effects of the situational approach on the richness of the productive English oral chunks of higher vocational students. The results show that the situational approach of English learning and teaching will significantly improve the richness of the productive oral chunks, especially that of the topic-related chunks; while for the discourse and interactive oral chunks, it has no significant influences on the improvement of their variation, originality and sophistication, but is highly related to the significant decrese of density. These effects can be attributed to the fact that with the deep implementation of situational teaching, the learners’ chunk consciousness are gradually strengthened, and their oral English ability is constantly improved through the quantitative and qualitative optimization of different types of lexical chunks.
