论奥林匹克运动在中华民族精神弘扬与培育过程中的作用(二)

从团结统一、自强不息、贵和尚中和厚德载物精神等四个方面来进一步探讨奥林匹克运动在中华民族精神弘扬与培育过程中的作用。对团结统一精神的弘扬与培育主要表现在:中国的奥林匹克运动增进了中华民族的团结意识,并交织着捍卫国家主权的斗争;奥林匹克运动为海峡两岸交流提供了有益渠道,促进了祖国统一大业。"奥运情结"、体育强国的梦想和奥运会的成功申办与举办激励着中国人自强不息。从参与者的全面发展、社会和谐、人与环境的和谐以及竞技体育与大众体育的协调发展等几方面探讨了奥林匹克运动对贵和尚中精神的弘扬与培育。最后,指出奥林匹克运动对中国人运动道德的提升和北京等奥运会举办城市市民素质的提高起到了强有力的推动作用。
