| Abstract: | The paper introduces the basic principle and structure of the MasterSizer2000 laser grain analyzer, and the pretreatment methods of the sediment samples before grain analysis. It also summarizes the applications of the grain analysis method to the Marine Geology, Quaternary Geology, Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology, and forecasts the application future of the grain analysis method. |
