胡适的教育思想及其实践探析

摘    要:胡适最具特色和最有价值的教育思想与教育实践可以归结为:终生不渝地坚持“教育救国”的主张;对传统教育的深层批判;力倡教育与学术独立;孜孜不倦地引介西方先进的教育理念和思维方式;对近代中国的教育改革尽心尽力、贡献卓著。本文试图在探索胡适的教育思想和实践的同时,细细品味胡适教育思想于上个世纪传达出来的深透、理性、现代的启迪。

Abstract:This article introduces Hu Shi's most featured and most valuable educational thoughts and practice in five aspects: persistence of the "Saving Country Through Education "proposition in all his life; in-depth criticism of traditional education; strong call for educational and academic independence; persevere in introducing modern Western educational mentality and thinking methodology; endeavor in and remarkable contribution to the educational reform of China. This article tries to explore Hu Shi' s educational thoughts and practice, and digests carefully the deep, rational and modern message conveyed from Hu Shi's thoughts of education, from the last century.
