As a major landmark event at important historical nodes in China,the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics gave birth to the great Beijing Winter Olympics spirit embracing valuable spiritual wealth.This research probed into the meaning,characteristics and inheritance of the Beijing Winter Olympics spirit in order to deepen the understanding of the Beijing Winter Olympics spirit,to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on the Beijing Winter Olympics spirit and to take active explorations for the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It was held that the Beijing Winter Olympics spirit embodied the core values of the Olympic spirit and demonstrated the power of the Chinese sports spirit.For the nation,for the people and for advancement were the major characteristics,embodied in the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as the driving force,the respect for the dominant position of the people as the fundamental purpose,and the building of a community with a shared future for the mankind as the long-cherished wish.In the post-Olympic era,adhering to educational guidance,attaching importance to cultural edification,promoting sports development,and integrating the Beijing Winter Olympics spirit into Olympic education,national cultural construction and the construction of a leading sporting nation were the main paths for the inheritance of the Beijing Winter Olympics spirit.
