互联网与制造业空间集聚:影响与机制

摘    要:为探究现代信息技术对产业空间分布的影响,基于新经济地理模型,以中国31个省区市面板数据为研究样本,运用普通最小二乘法(OLS)线性回归、工具变量以及门槛非线性回归等计量方法,研究互联网对制造业集聚的影响方向与路径。研究发现:互联网除了对制造业具有直接的吸引作用外,还通过提高知识溢出效应与市场潜力间接促进制造业集聚;互联网对制造业集聚的影响受经济发展水平与人力资本水平的调节和制约;此外,互联网对制造业会由于地理区位的不同而呈现出不同集聚效应。

Internet and spatial agglomeration of manufacturing industry: influence and mechanism
Abstract:the rapid development of the Internet has penetrated into all aspects of China"s economy and society, and deeply affected the spatial distribution pattern of China"s manufacturing industry. Based on the new economic geography model, using panel data, ordinary panel regression method, instrumental variable method and threshold nonlinear regression, this paper studies the impact direction and path of the Internet on manufacturing agglomeration. It is found that, first, the Internet not only has a direct attraction to manufacturing, but also indirectly promotes manufacturing agglomeration by improving knowledge spillover effect and market potential; Second, the threshold regression results show that the impact of the Internet on manufacturing agglomeration is regulated and restricted by the level of economic development and human capital; Third, the impact of the Internet on the manufacturing industry will show different mechanisms with different geographical locations.
