近代以来，由于西方文化传入及产生巨大影响，中国传统思想文化经历了剧烈变革；其变革途径是多样的，其理论也是不断发展的，且不同时期变革的侧重点有所不同；概言之，是通过批判、继承和重新解读传统文化，认同、吸纳和诠释外来文化等途径完成这一近代转换的，并在此基础上融合形成了中国近代新的文化传统，其精华值得我们继承和发扬。
