On the Narration of Love in Chinese Classic Novels in the 17 Years after 1949

In the classic novels of the 17 years after 1949, the narration of love exists impressively in the discourse of revolutionary narration. On the other hand, the narration of revolution has succeeded in recounting grand topics with the aid of love narration, which has led to well-developed, exquisite and authentic characters, the neatly-knit structure and the suspension of the novels as well as their vividness, readability and human touches. The existence of love narration in revolution discourse not only arises from the down-to-earth attitude towards literary creation on the part of writers but also reflects the assimilation and fusion of the narrative experience in traditional national novels and modern novels. The narration of love has endowed the classic novels of the 17 years with values beyond their times rather than a kind of simplified political texts.
