走下神坛的母亲——论张爱玲对传统母亲形象的颠覆

对于母亲的书写大多是从审美的角度，歌颂她的伟大、无私和圣洁，使得母亲成为一种概念化、模式化的单面形象。张爱玲以她对生活的客观认识和体验，对传统的母亲形象予以颠覆，她消解了母亲创造生命的伟大性，并对母亲作为儿女的精神家园的期待给予无情摧毁；最后母亲神圣、纯洁的象征意义也被彻底解构，从而还原了母亲作为人和女人的本来面目，多角度地折射出母亲自私、卑怯、扭曲的另一种真相。
