商代祭祀的用牲方法

国之大事,在祀与戎[1]578。商代统治者对祭祀非常重视,其用牲每每数十乃至上百,更有甚者多达千余。用牲的方法亦是多种多样,有火烧、沉河、对剖、肢解、剥皮、活埋、断首、水煮、曝晒等多种方式。

the Meathods of Using Animals to Offer Sacrifice in Shang Dynasty

As for the country,the most important things are war and sacrifice.the rulers in Shang Dynasty attached great importance to sacrifice,and the animals used to offer sacrifice to gods or ancestors always amounted to ten or hundrend,sometimes,even thousand ones.the means in handling the animals were varied,such as,burning them,throwing them into the river,dissection,skinning them,burying them alive,cutting their head,boiling them,isolating them.
