雅俗制衡与中国文学的价值重建

19世纪末到20世纪30年代是中国文化系统发生根本性变革、文学被重新定义的年代。这一时期，文学的雅俗碰撞尤为激烈，雅俗内涵变化尤为频繁。从《新小说》到《玉梨集》，从《小说月报》到《礼拜六》，从京派到海派，每一次文学雅俗身份的重新确认，都是文学对自身的一次再定义，是该时期文学价值重建的一种方式。正是这种雅俗制衡，构成该时期中国文学的阶段性演进。

The Balance between Elegant and Popular Tastes and Re-evaluation of Chinese literature

There was radical transformation in the cultural system in China from 1900s to 1930s,when literature was re-defined.During this three decades,the conflict between the elegant taste and popular taste in literature was extremely severe,and the the connotation of both these tastes changed frequently.From the journal New Novel to Soul of Jade Pear,from Novel Monthly to Saturday,and from the Beijing Style to Shanghai Style: each time when literature re-claimed its elegant or popular identity it signified its own re-definition and one of the ways of its re-evaluation.It is the checks and balances between the elegant and popular tastes that promote the evolution of Chinese literature onto new stages during this period.
