摘    要:2002年高考英语加试听力将对中学英语教学产生积极的影响,对开展英语学科素质教育,提高学生英语的综合能力,将起着十分重要的作用。NMET2002试题仍坚持英语测试改革的总体方向,知识性题目的难度有所降低,对中学英语教学有良好的导向作用。阅读理解部分继续保持较大的阅读词汇量和信息量,保持较高的阅读速度,这仍然是今后高考命题的发展趋势。因此,考生的语言能力应当建立在语言应用的基础上。要注意从语言形式转到语言意义上来,提高对语言意义的领悟与判断能力。

Abstract:With the further development of high quality oriented education, great changes have taken place for the innovation in National Matriculation English Test(NMET). The adding of listening test to NMET will surely have influence on teaching and research in middle schools. And it will take an important part in high quality oriented education and in raising synthetical ability of the students. NMET2002 maintains the general direction in the innovation of English test. The reduce of difficulty in some knowledge problems will give better guidance to teaching and research in middle schools. The section of Reading Comprehension maintains longer passages with much more information like the former years, which is the trend of NMET in the future. So the language ability of the students should be based on language use. And much more attention should not only be paid to language form, but also to language meaning. Therefore the ability of understanding and estimating is brought up.
