对女性身份的反抗与困惑——读亨利·詹姆斯的小说《螺丝在拧紧》

由男性铸造的传统社会将女性视为低下的:她只能通过挑战和改变男性高等地位的途径来改变自己低下的地位,赢得真正的女性身份。本文就是从女性主义和精神分析的角度对十九世纪著名的文学家亨利·詹姆斯的中篇小说《螺丝在拧紧》进行解读。结合时代背景,对故事中女主角"I"试图冲破传统女性角色定义,争取与男性同等地位,建设全面健康真实的女性形象,获得理想的女性身份所做的努力与所产生的困惑进行分析,以期对男性文学作品中女性形象塑造有更为深刻的了解。

Struggles and Bepuzzlement for Feminine Identity

In stead of submission, women can choose to challenge and topple over the superiority of men in the patriarchy society. In this dissertation, the psychoanalytical way of interpreting the formation of feminine subject of unnamed"I"in the story of Turn of the Screw help us to understand the bepuzzlement and anxiety in the struggle of masculine and feminine elements under such obvious unequal circumstances. Consequently, the attempts of construct a new feminine identity is destined to failure.
