以力治理、性别偏好与女性参与——基于妇女参与乡村治理的地位分析

从普遍的情况看,中国农村妇女在乡村治理中的地位不高。已有的研究主要是从政策和文化的角度解释其原因,本文从农村治理形式的角度探讨影响农村妇女在乡村治理中地位的因素。农村以能力、权力和暴力为特征的力治形式以及由此产生的性别偏好和性别排斥,极大地制约了农村妇女参与乡村治理的进程。农村治理形式的转变是提高妇女在乡村治理中的地位的重要因素。作者认为农业税的取消、新农村的建设,农村的治理形式将发生重大转变,农村妇女的民主参与面临着重大的机遇和挑战。

Power Politics, Gender Discrimination And Women's Involvement——An Analysis Of Women's Status In Participation In Village Governance

Generally speaking,Chinese rural women take lower position in village government.Most researches explain this situation in terms of policy and culture.This paper tries to analyze the elements which affect the women's role in the village administration in respect of governing pattern.The("power") governance marked by capability,authority and violence and the gender preference and discrimination caused by this kind of governance greatly blocked the women's participation in rural management.The transformation of country governing-pattern is one of the most important elements in improving women's status in rural government.The paper foresees that with the cancellation of the agriculture tax and the construction of new country,rural governing-pattern will be greatly changed,rural women's democratic participation will be faced with opportunities and challenges.
