谁来拯救大学

我国大学中长期坚持的行政化体制,使大学活动背离自己的本质和规律,导致大学中理应生长和普及的崇高精神和品格的荒芜,对此,应该加以努力拯救。这项工作对于中国大学以及教育发展的意义,无异于“废科举、兴学校”,因为它意味着中国大学制度将发生革命性变化。然而,无论是大学自身,还是主管大学的政府部门,都无力完成这项活动,只能寄希望于出现“卡里斯玛”式的人物。

Who Will Save Universities?

The rigid government-style administration system used over a long period of time has resulted in China's universities' deviation from the correct path and loss of lofty character and spirits.Universities must be saved without delay.China's universities need a revolutionary transformation,which will be highly significant for China's education.However,this will be beyond the capabilities of the universities themselves and the government agencies responsible for higher education.The only hope lies in the appearance of some 'charismatic' leaders.
