对传统逻辑与现代逻辑关系之我见

逻辑学发展至今,如何摆正传统逻辑与现代逻辑之间的关系?有的逻辑工作者提出用现代逻辑取代传统逻辑,我认为不可,由于两者所属的系统、所具有的性质和功能皆不同,两者的关系不能是简单地“取代”,而是一方面充分肯定现代逻辑的科学意义和重大价值,全面加强对其研究;另一方面并不排斥传统逻辑,主张所有的逻辑工作者依据其特长,在其不同的逻辑层面上,从事多角度、多层次、多侧面、全方位的研究,两者应当并行发展,相互切磋,共同繁荣。

On the Relationships between Traditioonal Logics and Modern Logics

In the history of logics study there has been existing a problem of how to put in a correct position the rela-tions between logics in traditional study and that in modern study,some educators propose that traditional study be replacedby modern study. The author holds an opposite attitude toward it. Since neither logics in traditional study nor logics in mod-ern study belongs to the same system,and they have different features and functions,their relations can not be intdependent,or replaced by each other. The implication and significance of logics in modern study is to be fully affirmed and the study of itbe strengthened,while the logics in traditional study is not to be ignored. The author advocates that the learners of logicsshould take a seeking-truth-from-facts attitude to conduct a multiangle,comprehensive study of logics on various levels.
