On the Importance of Strengthening Socialist Moral Education

Moral education,whether in the East or the West,has a prominent place.At present,facing many new problems in the course of moral education,the CPC and the government attach great importance to the moral and ethical education,and always highlight the important position of moral construction and moral education in the process of constructing spiritual civilization.Strengthening social moral education exerts great significance to improving the people’s morality.To counter the phenomenon of moral declining,such measures should be taken to strengthen the education of citizens’ basic ethics,purifying moral environment,spreading new concepts and caring about people’s thinking.
