| Abstract: | Mass organizations of sport are mutually beneficial organizations formed by people getting together,who are commonly characterized by sport. In nature those organizations are folk,pro fitless,mutually beneficial and getting together to go in for physical training. They have the functions of representing masses to take part in political activities,helping the physical education departments of the government to complete some of its functions,admitting their members and safeguarding the interests of masses and individuals. Mass organizations of sport are divided into several kinds,such as competitive sport,social physical education,scientific technique of physical education,sports spectators,sports entertainment etc. Under the condition of planned economy the mass organizations of sport in our country were in a state of shrink. At present they have developed greatly,but their social bases are very weak and they obviously have the dual character of government and people. Mass organizations of sport are the kind of organizational form,suitable for the market economy. In the future century they will gradually get out of the dual structure of government and people,and will reveal their specific social functions and value. |
