| 摘 要： | 当今大学英语的教学集中在四个方面:综合英语教学和听说教学;基础英语教学和文化教学;基础英语教学和专门用途英语教学;传统教学模式和以现代技术为基础的多媒体教学模式。各个高校应结合实际情况,确保不同层次的学生在英语应用能力方面得到充分的训练和提高,从而使大学英语教学改革落到实处。

| Abstract: | The paper discusses four major issues in present college English teaching,which involves the relationships among the integrative English teaching mode and listening-speaking English teaching mode; foundational English teaching and culture-oriented teaching; foundational English teaching and ESP teaching; and the traditional teaching mode and computer-based multimedia teaching mode. The author suggests that teachers should take actual condition of students into consideration and ensure students of different levels to obtain sufficient help in English learning so as to successfully put college English teaching reform into effect. |
