An overview of Current Situation and Trend of Theoretical Application of Sports Policy Analysis

This paper summarized the theories used in the current global sports policy analysis and tracks the trend of theoretical application in order to explore whether the analysis of sports policy deviated from the policy science,how and to what extent.In addition,the application of the theory in the journal of international sports policy and politics was ranked.This paper helped policy analysts to identify relevant theories for data collection and analysis of sports policies.It could be concluded that although sports policy analysts reacted to the new trend of policy theory development later than general policy scientists,they chose popular theories to analyze sports policy cases and maintain the same trend of theoretical application as policy disciplines.Therefore,current sports policy analysis was well embedded in the field of policy science.
