Tujia ethnic is the mountains , mainly live in the Wuling mountain area of China .As the descendants of the ancient Ba people , the nation attaches great importance to the exercise of the body , and has also formed a unique traditional sports culture in the long course of history .The study on traditional sports of Tujia connotation can contribute to a more in -depth understanding of the history and culture of Tujia nationality , and also benefit to analyze its modern value , and promote the economic development .This paper , fromthe present situation , catego-ries and connotations of Tujia traditional sports , analyzes the positive role of modern value on Tujia nationality .
