Reviewing the development history of the discipline of national traditional sport,it is believed that the national traditional sport is developed from the discipline of Wushu.The development of Wushu has experienced the process from the Wushu items to the curriculum,from the curriculum to the profession,and then reached the relatively independent discipline,with the support of the curriculum and the profession.In the face of new historical opportunities and missions,the construction of a cultural power should be taken as a guide to systematically sort out the cultural resources of this area.The aim of building a sports power should be taken to promote the study of sports items in national traditional sport.And the way of building a healthy China should be taken as the cornerstone to explore the role of national traditional sport in health promotion.In the direction of building a strong education country,a comprehensive planning of the education program should be done towards the traditional sport major.The researchers in this area,who are strategically situated and cultural self-confident,should stand on the ontology,and carry out the research on a high-pitched and down-to-earth basis,guided by the disciplinary issues.
