| 摘 要： | 功能文体学是以Halliday的系统功能语法为理论基础的文体学理论。本文依据Halliday的系统功能语法理论，以选取的8篇英语科普小品文为语料，尝试从概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能三大纯理功能的角度进行系统分析，并且对分析结果做进一步的统计和阐释，从而归纳出以功能文体学为视角的英语科普小品文的文体特征。这些文体特征主要体现在及物性结构、语气、情态、主位结构等方面。本文旨在扩展英语小品文这一语体的文体研究范围，以加深读者对该语体文体特征的认识。

A Systemic- functional Stylistic Approach to the Characteristics of Scientific Essays |

| Abstract: | Functional stylistics, one branch of stylistics, is theoretically based on the Systemic - Functional Grammar （SFG） by Halliday. In the analytical framework of SFG, here a thorough analysis of the eight samples of the selected scientific essays is carfled out from the perspective of ideational, interpersonal and textual metafunction, followed by a further statistical study and detailed explanation. The functional stylistic characteristics of the scientific essays are summarized on the foundation of these results. These features are mainly conceming Transitivity, Mood, Modality, and Theme Structure, etc. This thesis intends to broaden the stylistic surveying area of essay, so that readers can gain a better comprehension of this linguistic variety. |
