| Abstract: | Novel Times" was a famous modern novel magazine. Its main characteristics is to publish the translation of foreign novels and short stories, especially, a majority of space was devoted to publishing the translation of short stories. The freshly new style and artistic form of the translated short stories promote the renovation of Chinese novels and novelette, and furthermore, it helped develop the Chinese literary creation in general and establish the foundation that the creation of traditional novels transit smoothly to that of the modern novels. |
