| 摘 要： | 利用2002年数据,对子女的大学教育与家庭背景进行了计量回归分析,在回归中重点考察了父母收入、教育及职业对子女上大学的影响。实证研究结果表明,在中国城镇居民中,父母收入对子女上大学的机会有很大影响,这一影响比西方发达国家要大很多,说明在中国代际之间的不平等转移更为严重。同时,父母受教育情况与子女大学教育有正的显著相关关系,父亲的受教育程度对子女的影响更大。

| Abstract: | Using 2002 urban household surveys(UHS) data,this paper examines the relationship between family background,particularly parental income,education and occupation,and the participation of the young in higher education.The results shows,in the city,that the parental income has huge impact on the decision of the young's participation in the higher education,the relationship is much stronger than the western country.The result indicates that the inequality transferred from generation is much bigger too.Furthermore,this paper finds that parental education has significant and positive effect on the children's education attainment,while the fathers' effects are much stronger. |
