Abstract:Related to the newly-issued High School Curriculum Standard of Chemistry, this thesis briefly introduces the substance of Scientific Literacy and its key elements, analyzes several parts the chemistry teaching played in improving the students' scientific literacy. It shows to the reader how to arouse the students' interest in learning chemistry and what the future of chemistry is as well.
