新工科和新工科建设的内涵解析——兼论行业特色型大学的新工科建设

新工科建设是我国高等工程教育主动应对新一轮科技革命与产业革命的战略行动。新工科和新工科建设的内涵可以这样来理解:新工科是概念和理念的共融、学科和专业的共通,新工科建设是学科建设和高等工程教育改革的共进。行业特色型大学是我国高等教育体系中的重要组成部分,在新工科建设中具有独特优势,但目前也存在发展动力不足、引领作用发挥不强的问题。在新工科建设过程中,行业特色型大学要突出优势、突出特色,与综合性大学、地方高校一起,各安其位、各展所长,以三足鼎立之势共同推进新工科建设。

Analysis of the Connotation of Emerging Engineering Education and Its Construction

The construction of emerging engineering education is an important strategy adopted by China’s higher engineering education to meet the requirements of the new technological and industrial revolution.Emerging engineering education is the integration of ideas and concepts and connects disciplines with majors,while the construction of emerging engineering education is the combination of disciplinary construction and higher engineering education reform.Universities with industrial features are the important parts of China’s higher education,and high-level universities with industrial features are the backbone of the construction of emerging engineering education.The construction of emerging engineering education has provided development opportunities for high-level universities with industrial features.Therefore,universities with industrial features,along with comprehensive universities and local universities,should give full play to their strengths to promote the construction of emerging engineering education in China.
