| 摘 要： | 福克纳在小说创作上取得了巨大成功,其中一个重要原因就是他没有囿于传统的束缚,而是告别了高雅文学的象牙之塔,拆除了横亘在雅俗文学之间的高墙,这种鲜明的通俗意识在一定程度上起到了规划和框定小说模式的作用。福克纳在创作中吸纳诸多的通俗手法,并不是要去媚俗,而是要更好地实现自己的创作理念,更好地将自己对人生、对世事、对人类的过去、现在和将来的种种思考、忧虑、探索见诸于文字,从而在更深、更高的层次上实现与读者的心灵沟通。

| Abstract: | One of the important reasons for William Faulkner' s great success in his novel creation is that Faulkner was not restricted by conventions, instead he left the ivory tower of serious and elegant literature and demolished the high wall that lies between classic literature and popular literature. This clear popular consciousness of his creation somewhat plays the function of planning and framing his fiction patterns. In the process of creation, Faulkner absorbed and adopted many popular writing methods not in order to please the readers but to better realize his ideas of creation and to better describe his various thoughts, worries and explorations of human life and of worldly affairs as well as of the past, present and future of mankind, thus succeeding on a higher level in communicating with the readers in the depths of their hearts. |
