With detailed data analysis of the scale and structure of rural household consumption,the current situation,history of development,we have obtained,by the econometric model,the total consumption expenditure of rural residents,marginal consumption propensity and income flexibility.Result： The scale of consumption of rural residents and the consumption structure is basically compatible with their income level;insufficient income of rural residents results in the problem of the scale and structure of.Therefore,raising the income of rural residents is the key to stimulating rural consumption.
