| 摘 要： | 在敦煌地区历史时期早期的总体文化格局中,居于主体和主导地位的是原有的中原传统文化;从宗教流行格局方面说,当时的敦煌地区道教流行不仅早于佛教,而且比佛教更广泛、更深入和更有优势,既和儒家文化等共为当时敦煌地区总体文化格局中的主体和主导,又在当时敦煌地区流行的各宗教中居于优势地位。如果仅从宗教流行格局方面说的话,当时的敦煌地区是以道教为主的地区和社会。
