“入世”后更应加强学生数学素质的培养

伴随着21世纪的钟声，我国将跨入WTO的大门，一个以信息社会和市场经济为基本形态的21世纪已经来临。随着中美关于加入WTO会谈公报的发表，国人都在思考一个现实而又严肃的问题：中国人往后怎么过日子?以科教兴国为基本国策的中华民族在教育改革的大潮中选择了以提高全民族素质为根本目标的素质教育之路。如今，我们住在数学地球村里，活跃在WTO大门之内，这条路又该如何走下去?     

WTO与大学素质教育

加入WTO对我国高等教育将产生重大的影响，作为培养高级人才的现代大学如何加强素质教育，迎接WTO的挑战，是我们教育工作者必然关注的。面对高校学生素质教育中存在的种种问题，我们应及时更新教育思想观念、改进工作方法、高速学科专业，以确保高等教育不致于落后于时代的发展。     

创新教育与教育创新

笔者到中小学调研，许多老师向我反映：我们经过几年的学习和实践，刚弄清楚了什么叫素质教育，现在冒出来个创新教育，又把我们搞糊涂了。素质教育同创新教育到底是一回事，还是两回事?创新教育的前后两个字一颠倒，又成了教育创新，这是不是搞文字游戏?教育系统不断出新名词，是不是赶时髦?这些问题提得非常尖锐。为对大家开展教育改革有所启发，笔者不避浅陋，直率地谈谈自己的一些看法。     

创新教育重在更新教育观念

21世纪之初，知识经济的浪潮席卷全球。中国加入WTO预示着我们当教师的也面临知识经济时代的挑战。当前教育的重点是变应试教育为素质教育。素质教育的一个显特征就是创新教育。所以培养具有创新素质的新一代，无疑是我们民族兴旺、国家发展的关键，这就要求教师必须高度重视创新教育。笔认为要确立“三种意识”，树立“三个观念”。     

校园文化：一个重要素质教育资源

一片剪纸，一幅彩画，一首新歌……这些智慧的火花如满天的星斗，在清纯的校园内闪闪烁烁。可面对那些闪烁的智慧，我们老师们，你注意了多少?利用了多少?这些闪烁即逝的宝贵资源在每位大喊‘?素质教育”的师长们面前奔勇流淌着，那是生命的涌动。倘若从素质教育的视角探究那些“闪烁化”的意义和价值，我们会猛然发现：校园内还有一片丰厚的教育资源有待我们去开发。     

WTO与中国法学教育改革

法学教育承担着为国家和社会输送高级法律人才的历史使命，中国加入WTO给法学教育带来无限的机遇，同时也使法学教育面临着严峻的挑战。为应对WTO，中国的法学教育必须进行以下几方面改革：确立素质教育理念；优化教学课程体系；改进传统教学方法。
