重写理论视角下编译在高校网站英译的应用

随着中国高校不断与国际接轨,绝大多数高校在其中文网站的基础上建立了英文网页。高校网站的翻译不仅仅是语言的转换,也是全球化语境下的文化交流,将其视为单纯的语言转换势必影响交流的效果。从一定意义上来说,翻译就是一种重写行为,编译就是重写行为的具体体现。文章从勒菲弗尔重写理论的视角出发,对比研究国内外高校简介,试图从意识形态、诗学和赞助人三方面阐述高校简介英译中编译作为一种翻译方法的运用,从而在新的形势下为中国高校简介的翻译提出合理化的建议。     

基于生态翻译学视角的高校简介英译策略研究——以广东省独立学院为例

高校网页简介翻译通过网络传播,在中国高等教育国际化、对外宣传以及跨文化交流中发挥着重要的作用。本研究基于生态翻译学,从语言、文化、交际三大维度分析广东省独立院校的网页简介的英译状况,并在此基础上提出省译、意译以及改写编译的翻译策略,以利于提高高校网页简介的英译质量,提升高校对外宣传效果。
