刘基散文中的“释名“

刘基在小学领域,也颇有些建树,特别是训诂学上成就更大,散见于刘基散文中探求词源,说明词和事物命名的理据及谴词造句理据的"释名",已具语源学特色.散文<菜窝说>用声训的方法,比较系统地探求了部分蔬菜的单名理据,大都可信.其他散文对复名的理据的探求更为可靠,其寻求理据的方式对我们目前的语言理据研究还有较高的价值.刘基的<春秋明经>揭示的<春秋>的句法修辞理据,也颇有自己的特色.     

刘基《春秋明经》的著作年代问题

刘基的政治思想，主要见于他的寓言体裁之作《郁离子》、科举经义体裁的《春秋明经》、《拟连珠》以及八题一○七首被吕立汉称之为“议政诗”的诗歌。《郁离子》作于刘基四十九岁出仕明太祖之前一年，是近代论述刘基政治思想的主要甚至唯一根据，相关研究已经很多。“议政诗”作于元末明初，主要是入明之前作品，近年有吕立汉的专文研究。《春秋明经》四十一篇的著作年代颇有争议，但其断定对于了解刘基思想的发展和转变是必需的。文章从此书的文本分析结合刘基的传记、元朝的科举制度进行考究，检讨了既有的各种说法，提出新的看法，认为此书不是刘基早年练习举业之作，也不是明初之作，而是至正八年至十一年八月间，刘基任职江浙儒学副提举，为行省考试官时，为儒学生员讲说文义而写成的，具有应试范文集的性质。

寓言是一种重要的文化现象，中国寓言是世界三大寓言体系之一，而刘基是中国古代重要的寓言作家。我读了刘基的寓言专集《郁离子》和刘基的其他寓言，也读了一些研究刘基寓言的文章，很佩服这位曾经叱咤风云的思想家、政治家与寓盲家。在《中国古代寓言史》中，我也曾经列专题论述过他的寓言，然而，当一口气读完《刘基寓言研究》之后，我又有新的收获，以为这本论著具有全面性、新颖性和独创性，是刘基寓言研究也是整个刘基研究领域的一项重要成果。 全书从时代背景、作者人格价值取向、叙述类型、思想内容、思维走向、审美特征、历史地位…

到目前为止,从理据学角度来研究詈词,还鲜有人问津.詈词既是语言现象,又是民俗文化现象.探求詈词构词理据的过程就是解剖、再现其背后民俗文化的过程.     

论《释名》的科学性

历来学者对《释名》的写作态度与方法批评得甚多，其实，《释名》的训释多有所本，对所本又采取了科学的态度，对纬书借声训售其私进行了批判。刘熙对理据的认识，也颇为进步，其推求词的理据的最主要方法－声训，也较科学，且揭示了给事物命名的客观依据。因而以往的批评大多有失公正。     

英汉词汇的理据性对比

自二十世纪以来，语言是任意性的观点始终占据不可动摇的主导地位。然而，语言在词汇层面并非任意的，而是存在着明显的理据性。词的表达形式与词义之间有时具有某种内在的联系，这就是词的理据性。词的理据性可分为语音理据、形态理据、语义理据、文字理据。英汉两民族有着相同的和不同的认知概念结构，也反映出他们在语言上相同和不同的相似方式。通过对英汉词汇理据性的对比和研究，找出英汉词汇理据性的异与同，有助于词汇教学和翻译的研究。     

从《方言》看《周易》古经中的方言词

《周易》中保存了较多的方言词，这些方言词都颇具地区性特色，实际上它们是古语词。考察这些古语词的词汇意义，研究与它们相关的历史状况，这对我们认识古语词的演变颇有帮助。

The Reader Response Approach to Teaching of English Literature

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models. At last I evaluate its usefuiness for teachers and present the advantages of reader response approach in Chinese context.
