在媒介生态学研究领域中,麦克卢汉和尼尔.波兹曼可谓两面较为鲜明的旗帜。前者将批判的矛头指向印刷术并为\"电的身体\"高唱赞歌,后者则对印刷术所促生的文化传统极力赞赏而为\"电视\"的\"祛童年化\"忧心忡忡。而对于互联网而言,其在今天早已发展成了一种巨大的\"融合媒介\"。从某种意义上看,他既强化了所谓的\"书写技术\",又加速了\"信息边界\"的消失。他所促生的一种宽泛的知觉场,并没能把人类社会重新带入紧密联系、凡事深深卷入的\"部落时代\"。相反,人们躲在那些大小不同且紧密联系的视窗背后,联系愈紧密却愈发孤独。这也就提醒人们,一定要谨慎对待教育中的技术设计、选择与应用。 相似文献

Scholars have argued that workers portrayed on television were often comfortable voicing disagreement to their supervisors but that disagreements rarely resulted in any change to the status quo. Organizational dissent, which by definition represents a challenge to the status quo, has been linked to a number of benefits for the dissenter and the organization. The researchers of the present study examined how dissent was portrayed on primetime television. Results indicated that dissenters often approached supervisors who had the power to address the frustrating circumstance that triggered the disagreement but that dissent was instrumentally ineffective and failed to elicit emotional support from the dissent audience. 相似文献

A commonly accepted belief is that the violence depicted in television programs, particularly cartoons, has a negative impact
on young children’s behavior. However, young children may be less inclined to emulate violent actions seen on television than
currently thought. Research indicates that young children have limited comprehension of television content but relatively
sophisticated moral reasoning. Children’s understanding of the immorality of violence on television and the distinction between
reality and make-believe may mediate these effects, as may the comic aspect of cartoons they view. We review current research
concerning the effects of cartoon violence on children’s moral understanding and behavior to with the goal of helping early

During the 2008 presidential campaign season, Tina Fey's timely impersonations of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live attracted overwhelming attention, both on television and online. Throughout the campaign, press buzzed about a possible “Fey Effect”: a negative impact of Fey's impersonations on Palin's favorability ratings and a subsequent decline in the GOP ticket. The current study seeks to test for this effect by measuring if Fey's impersonations of Palin rendered caricatured traits more salient in viewers' mental constructions of the candidate, namely character traits central to the Fey impersonation, including issues of intelligence, competence, experience and the Governor's rural background. Findings show that exposure to both the interview and its parody cause viewers to devote more cognitive attention to Palin's intelligence, competence and experience. In addition, the SNL parody is unique in its influence in rendering rural traits more salient in associations with Palin. Ultimately, this research finds that the agency of influence rests in the real Palin, allowing us to establish evidence of a “Palin Effect.” 相似文献

在众多类型电影中,暴力电影的影响是最为人所关注的一种,因为它关涉许多复杂而微妙的社会以及社会心理问题。本文以两部经典暴力电影中的声音与场景在贾樟柯电影作品中的迁徙、复现与变形为主要论题,由继发的电影文本分析先在的暴力文本如何被认同,以及何种暴力元素与形象被认同,进而推究出暴力电影发生社会影响的一种可能情况,即暴力电影中的形象所带有的一种力量,可以转化成一种特殊社会环境中的权威幻想,作为艺术,电影对先在文本的致敬与复制,其中隐含的批评意味非常耐人寻味。 相似文献

This study explores how talent-based reality shows with different thematic content influence gratifications obtained (GO) by viewers. Participants completed surveys regarding their reasons for watching reality programs, in general, and their reasons for watching specific talent-based reality shows (American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, and America's Got Talent). Results identified 2 gratifications not previously observed in other gratifications research (TV personalities and schadenfreude), and that correlations exist between the content of talent-based programs and GO. 相似文献

Gender and violence are complex and contested concepts, understood in varying ways in research, policy and interventions in education. Often there has been an emphasis on acts of violence, with much less attention to the social conditions and gender relations behind these acts. This paper discusses the development of a conceptual framework that emphasises not just acts and individuals, but also transformation of gendered power relations and inequities, alongside a focus on addressing the identity conflicts and struggles of everyday life. The framework underpins research, advocacy and community interventions in a multi-partnered project on violence against girls led by ActionAid. 相似文献

The general purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of a college course in media literacy. Specifically, the course took a holistic approach to media literacy and was designed to heighten college students' awareness of media structures, content, and impact, as well as to encourage students to become more critical/informed participants in the media environment. A pre-test, post-test, control group post-test only, quasi-experimental design was employed to assess the effectiveness of this approach to media literacy education. Overall, students' responses produced significant differences between the control group and the experimental groups' post-test scores on most (but not all) dependent measures. The implications of these results and suggestions for future research were discussed. 相似文献

在大众传媒的功能和影响日益增强的同时,我们必须学会正确地判断、选择、利用大众媒介及其内容,并能对媒介信息进行批判。通过对桂林高校部分在校大学生进行问卷调查,分析了桂林高校大学生对媒介的认知,接触媒介的动机,接触媒介的行为,利用媒介资源的能力及对媒介的批评能力等方面的媒介素养现状。调查结果表明,大学生对媒介内容能够进行自发性思考,但对媒介的表征和建构能力缺乏足够的判断和警惕,对媒介道德规范认识模糊,自律意识有待加强,对媒介文化的认识不足以及对学术资源使用不足。 相似文献
