高校教师胜任特征:O*NET工作分析研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
本研究采用O*NET工作分析问卷,凋查高校教师职位所需要的工作技能、工作风格及工作价值观.对405位被试的分析结果表明:(1)中国高校教师重要的工作技能是基本(认知)技能、复杂问题解决技能和社会技能;重要的工作风格是实践智力(创新导向)、独忘性、成就导向和责任心;重要的工作价值观是关系、独立性和工作条件.(2)认知技能、创新导向、独立性、成就导向和责任心与高校教师的工作绩效有密切联系,可能是高校教师重要的胜任特征.(3)高校教师的工作绩效与其对教师职位工作条件的满意程度有显著关联.  相似文献

Career guidance may have the potential to promote public health by contributing positively to both the prevention of mental health conditions and to population level well-being. The policy implications of this possibility have received little attention. Career guidance agencies are well placed to reach key target groups. Producing persuasive evidence to support claims of health outcomes from guidance is problematic. Although rare, there are some studies of health impacts from employment related interventions, suggesting it is not impossible to generate such evidence. There is a need to develop an evidence base addressing well-being outcomes which may require adopting health-style research methods. There is also a need to open a dialogue with policy makers concerning the potential for career guidance to contribute to public mental health.  相似文献

The results are presented of a policy-focused review of career guidance services in 10 Middle East and North African countries. A range of economic, political, socio-cultural and educational factors which seem likely to have constrained the development of such services, and to have influenced the forms they have taken, are discussed. A number of drivers for change are outlined, the nature of the main current services is described, and a number of common issues are explored. Summary Although career guidance activities can positively influence students' career development, the effectiveness of such activities is often impaired because they attempt to provide the same services to all students at the same time. Programs typically do not consider either students' differential developmental patterns or the fact that many students have particular needs due to learning, physical, or emotional handicaps. Therefore, a primary focus of refining programs must be the individualization of services to meet a wide variety of student needs.Referral to career assessment or to professionals trained in career assessment and consultation is a valuable option open to school counselors who have neither the time nor the specialized training to conduct such assessments themselves. Career assessment centers offer comprehensive assessment services, including both more traditional assessments as well as innovative activities. Using a consultation paradigm, the school counselor and career assessment officer can better provide comprehensive, individualized assessment and counseling tailored to the specific needs of students, regardless of their handicaps and their different levels of developmental readiness  相似文献

This paper responds to current discussions in career psychology that emphasise the importance of understanding how socio-economic backgrounds and social-cognitive environments influence career development. Located in India, this study examines the interaction between career beliefs and socio-economic status within a sample of Indian high school students. Significant socio-economic status differences were observed, with the lower SES groups showing higher levels of negative career beliefs. The relevance of these findings to career psychologists who work in multi cultural contexts is discussed within the framework of the Social Cognitive Theories of Career Decision Making. Conclusions We must recognize that the achievement of educational excellence is a function of student commitment to personal excellence. When we have commitment, we have individual action directed to effective decision making, planning, and preparation. This demands vocational guidance and assessment.Educational excellence, then, is shaped by and reciprocal to the confidence of students in their ability to pursue programs that challenge their abilities, provide access to opportunity, and rest upon self-knowledge and informed choice. Without student commitment, we can have reforms and change that bring us no closer than before to educational excellence. More efficacy studies, experimental designs, and longitudinal research in career guidance and counselling in educational and organizational settings, and for diverse cultural and economic backgrounds are needed. Research on the effectiveness of career guidance and counselling that demonstrates gains on a variety of levels is necessary to enhance the future of the field. Recommendations for internationalizing career guidance and counselling research by using a scientist practitioner model, diverse research methodology, and instruments to measure career outcomes are made.  相似文献
