A Comparative Study of Feng--gang Diaolou and Kaiping Diaolou （by MEI Wei-qiang）
Abstract： In Feng-gang Town, Dong-guan City, there stand 120 diaolou towers （Gun Towers called by locals）. There are simi- larities and differences between Feng--gang towers and Kaiping Diaolou, a world heritage site, in history, number, shape, and style.     

ABSTRACTS

Plato on Political Rhetoric Generally, Plato was regarded as being hostile to rhetoric. However, I will show that in Plato＇s some important political dialogues he still verifies the significance of rhetoric or persuasion. Then, I list the attacks of Plato on his contemporary rhetoric, which is called in the essay as ＂politician rhetoric＂. On the other hand, Plato also articu- lates the characteristics of true rlhetoric, which I name as ＂dialectical rhetoric. ＂ In order to elaborate ＂dialectical rhetoric＂, I take Pericles as an example to show how the dialectic rhetoric could work in the real political world. Finally, I point out that dialectical rhetoric still can give some reflection for today＇s political rhetoric. It contains the ideal of the good, caring the soul of the audience, speaking the truth, insisting the right thing with reason, etc.

Allow Marxism Go into the Masses Better -- Several Thinking of Promoting Contemporary Chinese Marxist Popularization
Abstract： The popularization of Marxism is the theoretical system engineering involving many fields, which should be given an structural and theoretical analysis from research basis, methods, relationship and the principles. The popularization of marxism should be combined into sinicization and the time so as to find the foothold; Expanding social members＇faith to Marxist in order to realize the maximization of the effect of guiding the practice and reforming society; Popularity emphasis on construction. Based on handling dialectically the relationship between parties, the popularity can be designed in the sense of modem, the method system of Marxist popularization can be established and the methodology can be formed.

The Buddhism Source of Emperor Wu of Liang Dynasty Sacrificing Himself to Tongtai Temple

Emperor Wu of Liang Dynasty sacrificed himself to Tongtai Temple for four times. The event is very fa-mous in Chinese Buddhism history, but the evaluation for it is quite different. Emperor Wu was enlightened by the worshiping Buddha behavior of Indian Ashoka. Emperor Wu＇s action was a simulation of Ashoka deeds, judging from the similarity between the two charity events and his admiration of Ashoka. Emperor Wu＇s worship for Asoka opened up a new perspective for us to study the history of Chinese Buddhism.

Analysis of similarities and differences between study guidance and guide learning XV Yong-jin, LOU Yi-fei
Study guidance and guide learning for promoting students＇ effective learning, play an important role to enhance the capability of quality, to promote the all-round development of students, and to the successful completion of their studies. Study guidance and guide learning have in common and the differences in the connotation, the characteristics, the function, the concept, and the form. Compared with the guide learning, study guidance is more applicable to someone who is the higher level, the high perception, and the subjective initiative strong person. From the guide learning to study guidance, is not only the teaching idea of the upgrade, but also the reform of teaching method.
