In this paper, a robust actuator fault diagnosis scheme is investigated for satellite attitude control systems subject to model uncertainties, space disturbance torques and gyro drifts. A nonlinear unknown input observer is designed to detect the occurrence of any actuator fault. Subsequently, a bank of adaptive unknown input observers activated by the detection results are designed to isolate which actuator is faulty and then estimate of the fault parameter. Fault isolation is achieved based on the well known generalized observer strategy. The simulation on a closed-loop satellite control system with time-varying or constant actuator faults in the form of additive and multiplicative unknown dynamics demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed robust fault diagnosis strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, the distributed adaptive fault estimation issue using practical fixed-time design is investigated for attitude synchronization control systems. A distributed fault estimation observer is proposed based on the fixed-time technique. Meanwhile, a novel fixed-time adaptive fault estimation algorithm is also constructed to guarantee convergence rate and improve estimation rapidity. The fault estimation error is uniformly ultimately bounded and is practically fixed-time stable, which converges to the neighborhood of the origin in a fixed time. Finally, simulation results of an attitude synchronization control system are presented to verify the effectiveness of proposed techniques.  相似文献

In this work, we developed a novel active fault-tolerant control (FTC) design scheme for a class of nonlinear dynamic systems subjected simultaneously to modelling imperfections, parametric uncertainties and sensor faults. Modelling imperfections and parametric uncertainties are dealt with using an adaptive radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) that estimates the uncertain part of the system dynamics. For sensor fault estimation (FE), a nonlinear observer based on the estimated dynamics is designed. A scheme to estimate sensor faults in real-time using the nonlinear observer and an additional RBFNN is developed. The convergence properties of the RBFNN, used in the fault FE part, are improved by using a sliding surface function. For FTC design, a sliding surface is designed that incorporates the real-time sensor FE. The resulting sliding mode control (SMC) technique-based FTC law uses the estimated dynamics and real-time sensor FE. A double power-reaching law is adopted to design the switching part of the control law to improve the convergence and mitigate the chattering associated with the SMC. The FTC works well in the presence and absence of sensor faults without the requirement for controller reconfiguration. The stability of the proposed active FTC law is proved using the Lyapunov method. The developed scheme is implemented on a nonlinear simulation of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The results show good performance of the proposed unified FE and the FTC framework.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the event-triggered fault estimation and fault-tolerant control for continuous-time dynamic systems subject to system fault and external disturbance under network environment. Firstly, based on the event-triggered sampling, a fault diagnosis observer is constructed to estimate both the system state and the system fault simultaneously, and a multi-objective constraint is established to guarantee the estimation accuracy. Based on the estimated system state and fault signal, a fault-tolerant controller is proposed to compensate the influence of occurred faults and maintain the system performance. The event-triggered scheme and the fault-tolerant controller are co-designed to guarantee the required performance of faulty system and reduce the consumption of communication resources. Finally, simulation results of an F-404 aircraft engine system are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the observer-based fault-tolerant control problem for the discrete-time nonlinear systems with the perturbation and the fault signals. First, the nonlinear term with perturbation is put into the local nonlinear part so that the nonlinear system with perturbation can be described as an interval type-1 (IT1) T-S fuzzy system. Then, based on the unknown input observer technology, the IT1 T-S fuzzy fault estimation (FE) observer scheme is presented to obtain the real-time FE information and decouple the local nonlinear part from the estimation error system, where the design complexity and the computational burden are reduced simultaneously. Second, based on the real-time FE information, an FE-based interval type-2 (IT2) T-S fuzzy fault-tolerant control scheme is presented to achieve the compensation for the influence of the fault signal and the stabilization for the system. Different from the traditional methods, a mixed design scheme, which is based on the IT1 T-S fuzzy fault estimation observer method and the IT2 T-S fuzzy fault-tolerant controller method, is proposed in this paper. This strategy can not only reduce the computational burden, but also obtain a less conservative result. Finally, the effectiveness of the mixed design approach is illustrated by an example.  相似文献

In this paper a new integrated observer-based fault estimation and accommodation strategy for discrete-time piecewise linear (PWL) systems subject to actuator faults is proposed. A robust estimator is designed to simultaneously estimate the state of the system and the actuator fault. Then, the estimate of fault is used to compensate for the effect of the fault. By using the estimate of fault and the states, a fault tolerant controller using a PWL state feedback is designed. The observer-based fault-tolerant controller is obtained by the interconnection of the estimator and the state feedback controller. We show that separate design of the state feedback and the estimator results in the stability of the overall closed-loop system. In addition, the input-to-state stability (ISS) gain for the closed-loop system is obtained and a procedure for minimizing it is given. All of the design conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMI) which can be solved efficiently. Also, performance of the estimator and the state feedback controller are minimized by solving convex optimization problems. The efficiency of the method is demonstrated by means of a numerical example.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with integrated event-triggered fault estimation (FE) and sliding mode fault-tolerant control (FTC) for a class of discrete-time Lipschtiz nonlinear networked control systems (NCSs) subject to actuator fault and disturbance. First, an event-triggered fault/state observer is designed to estimate the system state and actuator fault simultaneously. And then, a discrete-time sliding surface is constructed in state-estimation space. By the use of a reformulated Lipschitz property and delay system analysis method, the sliding mode dynamics and state/fault error dynamics are converted into a unified linear parameter varying (LPV) networked system model by taking into account the event-triggered scheme, actuator fault, external disturbance and network-induced delay. Based on this model and with the aid of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method, a delay-dependent sufficient condition is derived to guarantee the stability of the resulting closed-loop system with prescribed H performance. Furthermore, an observed-based sliding mode FTC law is synthesized to make sure the reachability of the sliding surface. Finally, simulation results are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper investigates the robust attitude tracking control problem for a rigid-flexible coupling spacecraft. First, the dynamic model for a rigid-flexible coupling spacecraft is established based on the first-order approximation method to fully reveal the coupling effect between rigid movement and flexible displacement when the spacecraft is in rapid maneuver. In the condition that flexible vibration measurements are not available, an robust output feedback controller which is independent of model is presented using Lyapunov method with considering state-independent disturbances. To resolve the chattering problem caused by the discontinuous sign function, a modified continuous output feedback controller is proposed by introducing functions with continuous property. Rigorous proof is achieved showing that the proposed control law ensures asymptotic stability and guarantees the attitude of a rigid-flexible spacecraft to track a time-varying reference attitude based on angle and angular velocity measurements only. Finally, simulations are carried out to verify the simplicity and effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

Robust fault detection for a class of nonlinear time-delay systems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper, the robust fault detection filter (RFDF) design problems are studied for nonlinear time-delay systems with unknown inputs. Firstly, a reference residual model is introduced to formulate the robust fault detection filter design problem as an H model-matching problem. Then appropriate input/output selection matrices are introduced to extend a performance index to the time-delay systems in time domain. The reference residual model designed according to the performance index is an optimal residual generator, which takes into account the robustness against disturbances and sensitivity to faults simultaneously. Applying robust H optimization control technique, the existence conditions of the robust fault detection filter for nonlinear time-delay systems with unknown inputs are presented in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation, independently of time delay. An illustrative design example is used to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed approach.  相似文献

A class of hybrid multi-rate control models with time-delay and switching controllers are formulated based on combined remote control and local control strategies. The problem of robust dissipative control for this discrete system is investigated. An improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed and the subsequent analysis provides some new sufficient conditions in the form of LMIs for both nominal and uncertain representations. Several special cases of practical interests are derived. A numerical simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical result.  相似文献

Robust formation problems for linear multi-agent systems with uncertainties and external disturbances are investigated in this paper. The model of each agent can be described by a nominal linear system combined with external disturbances and uncertainties which include parameter perturbations and nonlinear uncertainties. A more general bound of uncertainties is introduced. A robust formation controller, which consists of a nominal controller and a robust compensator, is proposed to achieve the desired state formation and restrain the influence of uncertainties and disturbances. Furthermore, sufficient conditions for time-varying formation feasibility are introduced and proved. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the intermittent fault (IF) detection problem for a class of linear discrete-time stochastic systems over sensor networks with constant time delay. By utilizing the lifting method, the distributed decoupled observers are proposed based on the output information of neighbor nodes and the node itself. In order to detect the appearing time and disappearing time of the IF, the truncated residuals are designed by introducing a sliding-time window. Furthermore, the IF detection and location thresholds are determined based on the hypothesis testing technique and the detectability of the IF is analyzed in the framework of stochastic analysis. Finally, a simulation example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the derived results.  相似文献

In the paper, a distributed sensor fault detection and isolation scheme is presented for a network of second-order integrators. A new distributed control law is developed to achieve formation of the system. By using the integration information of distributed formation errors, the control law improves the robustness of the formation. A distributed observer is then designed in each vehicle based on the closed-loop dynamic model of the vehicle. Each vehicle updates the states of the distributed observer by employing the measurements of itself and the transmitted state estimations from its neighbors. Based on the distributed observer, a distributed fault detection observer and a distributed fault isolation observer are designed. The presented distributed fault detection observer in each vehicle is able to be sensitive to the faults of all vehicles in the system. By using the distributed fault isolation observers, each vehicle is able to be sensitive to the faults of itself, its neighbors and its neighbors’ neighbors and to be robust to the faults of other vehicles. Although the fault isolation of the proposed scheme is simple, computation loads of the scheme are lower than the current ones since only the model of the individual vehicle is used. Finally, the effectiveness of the control law and the fault diagnosis scheme is demonstrated by simulations and real-time experiments carried out based on a formation of three quadrotors.  相似文献
