耶鲁大学建设全球性大学的理念与策略——兼论"耶鲁2005-2008年国际化战略框架"

经过300多年的历史积淀,耶鲁大学的发展已经迈入一个新的发展时期。《耶鲁2005-2008年国际化战略框架》的3个目标、15项策略和60个项目使耶鲁的保守性特征正逐渐减弱。笔者立足于从保守到开放、从动力到定位和从目标到策略等三个方面,揭示出耶鲁大学在建设全球性大学过程中所采取的"改革依托项目,项目支撑策略,策略服务目标"的思路和举措,对于今天的中国的一流大学建设颇具启示与参考价值。     

从"伊拉斯谟项目"到"伊拉斯谟世界项目":欧盟高等教育的国际化发展

本文通过对"伊拉斯谟项目"和"伊拉斯谟世界项目"的梳理,分析了欧盟从设立"伊拉斯谟项目"到启动"伊拉斯谟世界项目"欧盟高等教育国际化的跨越式发展,总结出欧盟高等教育在项目设计和实施中所体现出的国际化发展的特点,包括目标的国际化发展、项目内容的国际化发展、视野的国际化发展、参与范围的国际化发展、影响的国际化发展等,对我国高等教育国际化有一定的启示。     

耶鲁大学以学生为核心的国际化战略——基于耶鲁本科生国际交流项目的探讨

高等教育国际化已成为当今世界一流大学发展和前进的趋势。文章以耶鲁大学国际化进程为例,首先阐述了其从传统校园走向开放世界的准确定位;其次,从学生结构和课程设置国际化两个角度入手,揭示了耶鲁大学"以学生为核心"的国际化战略;最后介绍了耶鲁多元化的本科生国际交流实践项目和保障措施。

2014年4月,耶鲁大学在线教育委员会发布未来耶鲁大学在线教育发展战略报告,该报告分耶鲁大学在线教育的历史发展概况、未来发展目标和战略措施等六部分.通过梳理耶鲁大学在线教育的历史,作者发现耶鲁大学在美国高校在线教育领域的成功并非一蹴而就,它经历了一个循序渐进的沿革过程.文章从在线教育历史回顾、在线教育战略目标、在线教育战略措施和在线教育保障系统四个方面对未来耶鲁大学在线教育的发展进行了深入剖析.     

麻省理工学院"全球化"策略对我国高等教育国际化的启示

国际化是衡量大学办学水平的重要指标,是世界一流大学的重要特征,也是中国高校"双一流"建设的必由之路.中国高校目前在国际化建设中存在缺乏面向全球的顶层谋划、缺乏高质量的国际合作、缺乏国际知名的一流声誉等问题.文章综合分析牛津大学、耶鲁大学、南洋理工大学、麻省理工学院等四所高校的国际化发展路径,发现麻省理工学院所进行的全球化策略实践卓有成效且对中国高校来说最具借鉴意义.文章梳理了麻省理工学院策略的三大经验:一是远期规划引领发展;二是国际合作为纽带;三是核心价值融入策略.对中国高等教育国际化具有三点启示:一是加强顶层谋划,构建面向世界的"一流格局";二是开展全面合作,探索面向未来的"中国智慧";三是根植中华文化,塑造凸显特色的"一流名望".     

科学配置党员长效管理资源,积极落实"三个导向"策略目标

随着社会市场经济形式的变化,高校扩招后毕业生就业工作压力的加大,各高校的竞争也在全方位展开,面对社会就业大环境,高校提出了培养高素质人才的"三个导向"策略目标.学风建设、学生党建工作与学生管理工作是培养高素质人才过程中几个相辅相成的工作,它们之间有机交叉、相互渗透,如何将科学发展观的理念理性地运用到实际教育管理工作中,科学配置管理资源,创新学生长效管理机制,已经成为实现"三个导向"策略目标的重要举措之一.     

国外教师专业发展中的五种"过程"模式

教师专业发展包含"内容"、"过程"和"环境"三部分.其中"过程"是最复杂的,因为它涉及以下诸多问题:目前有什么样的教师专业发展模式?它们各自有何特点?如何选择适合教师本人和学校的教师专业发展模式?本文介绍了国外常用的五种教师专业发展模式: "行动研究"、 "协作解决问题"、"个人自我指导"、"听课与教学评价"和"培训",然后还介绍了三种模式选择的策略:教师取向策略、目标取向策略和双重取向策略.     

教学目标过程化:课堂教学的应然追求

从当下的教学现状看,人们对教学目标的预设(静态教学目标)研究十分重视,而对教学目标过程化(动态教学目标)的思考与实践则很少。教学目标过程化,实现了"静态"向"动态"的转化,实现了"学会"到"会学"的转化。文章从"开展问题学习,凸显问题解决的过程";"提倡自主学习,体验参与学习的过程";"实施项目学习,优化目标达成的过程"等三个方面阐述了教学目标过程化的实施策略。

外语教学的根本目的是培养学生的跨文化交际能力,而交际能力的构成包括语法、社会语言学、语篇和策略四个方面,其中社会语言学、语篇和策略三个方面统称为"文化语法"。因此,要培养学生的跨文化交际能力就必须重视外语"文化语法"教学。而"文化语法"教学的重要目标是教授语用合适性。

The Reader Response Approach to Teaching of English Literature

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models. At last I evaluate its usefuiness for teachers and present the advantages of reader response approach in Chinese context.
