口译中模糊语言的应用

模糊语言作为自然语言的一种本质属性,在口译实践中起着不可磨灭的作用。它即可满足人类用有限的语言去描述无限的自然,又可为译员减轻口译实践中的压力。该文旨在通过对模糊语言的定义、分类及应用的分析,从而使得口译员能更好地掌握应用方法及技巧,顺利地完成口译任务。

模糊语言是一种客观存在,在自然语言中占有相当大的比重,因此,人们在语言交际中无法避开它。合理巧妙地将模糊语言运用到记者招待会中能使言语交际更具得体性和有效性,而口译员巧妙地翻译模糊语言则能提高口译质量。笔者以温家宝总理记者招待会为例,介绍记者招待会口译的特点及模糊语言的定义与分类,通过分析记者招待会口译中模糊语言的语用功能,总结出相应的翻译对策。

随着全球化的发展,各国间的政治、经济、文化交流日渐频繁,口译人才在世界各国的交流中充当着更为重要的角色。市场对专业口译人才的需求也日益迫切,如何培养这类人才成为了一个新兴热门的研究领域。该文主要研究公众演讲策略在口译实践中的应用。首先,从交际角度分析口译及公众演讲的过程,对比演讲者和口译员在其过程中所扮演的角色,总结出了口译和公众演讲之间的关系及相同点,从理论上肯定了公共演讲技能在口译实践中应用的可能性。然后,该文以描述性的研究方式,归纳了公众演讲中可以应用到口译实践的各种策略,包括语言策略和非语言策略。最后,该文对现阶段的口译教学及其问题做了一些探讨,并对公众演讲策略在口译培训中的应用提出一些建议。

在中国与国际社会交流日趋广泛的背景下,口译人员扮演着日益重要的角色,在口译实践中流畅迅速地传达信息是对口译人员的基本要求。本文通过对比分析中英文句子的结构差异,浅释中英文两种语言的特性,并对选词、词性转换、增补、正反互译、破句重组等汉译英口译技巧进行简单探讨;从而促使口译人员进一步认识中英文的语言特性,在口译实践中顺应语言差异,恰当运用翻译技巧,以达到跨文化交流的最佳效果。

计算机辅助翻译语料库成为二语习得的新领域,为翻译研究及教学实践提供了指导。口译语料库指收录根据口译视频或音频资料转写而成的文字材料的语料库,其建库目的旨在研究口译策略、口译语言特征、口译规范和口译过程。口译语料库可以划分为口译平行语料库和口译可比语料库。口译平行语料库收录口译语料及其源语文本语料,这两类语料之间存在相关关系,通常应用于口译中不同语言间的对应关系,口译策略和口译语言特征等领域的研究。口译可比语料库收录相互之间具有可比性的目的语口译语料及目的语原创口语语料,这类语料库对口译语言特征和口译规范研究具有很高的应用价值。
